This is one of the reasons why the purpose and essence of living no longer makes meaning to most men, and when life no longer makes meaning to such men, then the serenity of life which is a by-product of love no longer holds in such lives. What a state short of expectation! It is the lack of love that breeds envy and gives rise to unhealthy competition. The absence of love equates the presence of wickedness. When love is not experienced in a man’s life, true peace can never flow from such live. When love is in deficit, divine power is scarce. When the acts love is suppressed, men are oppressed. The Deceptive Circle  He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters  (Luke 11:23, NKJV) It is now an accepted and established facts in the school of achievement that no meaningful and tangible result can be achieved without the the input of other people. It is also on these established principle that deception and falsehood has thrived mainly due to our failure to understand the characters in our inner cycle. The failure to understand the characters behind the faces around us has made us to suffer avoidable losses and irreparable loss of time. We focus on the number of people around us without a second thoughts about their character which make up their value to us. We have fought the wrong battles simply because we have misleading characters within our ranks. Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will neve r permit the righteous to be moved,  (Psalm 55:22)  Sometimes we find ourselves holding tightly to our burdens and those things that aren't fruitful and productive in our lives even when we've toiled with little or no result to show, this is because we find it difficult to let go of our burdens and lay them bare for the Master's (Jesus) use. When things are not working in our life, it is an opportunity to instigate a release to heaven. The major problem we have is what we fail to release and not what we tend to receive. When you release the point of contact to that dead and hopeless situation, you set the heaven in motion for the solution. It doesn't matter how hopeless the situation might be, just release it! It becomes a mere propaganda in the eyes of the world until it is acted upon.  The book of Acts 1:1 said thus…Jesus began to do and to teach .  We can see that our master the lord Jesus Christ preceded words by His actions. He didn’t just preach it, He lived the word. The word of God is meant to be lived and not just preached and taught alone. A Call for Testimonies Sometimes, the reason why the world find it difficult to accept our message of Christ and salvation is that we focus on the condemnation and ignore the essence of our testimonies. Our testimonies should be an attraction to the Kingdom of God and an attestation of the transformation that occurred in our lives when we encountered and accepted Him. As at the last time I checked, Jesus come did not propagate the message of condemnation but rather He promoted the message of salvation and good news in order for us to have the ultimate experience with Him and those that will accepts Him. It becomes an issue when Christians complain of their inability to hear from God or sometimes He seems to be far from them or in a worst case scenario,they can't feel His presence in their lives. they feel dry and empty and from a distant, you could feel the dust reeking from their spiritual frame.  They become a loner and a soloist as they attempts to play out the musical notes for their lives. they become psyched up and resigned to their detached state from source. They become the proverbial wanderer from purpose and a fugitive to the real life they were supposed to live. Life becomes a series of monologue instead of a dialogue. From the perspective of spiritual security,  in terms of command and control, It remains a tool for the enemy to strike without the hope for succour. Substance Over Form (IV) One cunning ploy of the enemy to make us pursue form over substance is the miscalculated pursuit for ambition. Ambition itself is a healthy phenomenon but the drive for it could become a ready made weapon the devil is ever willing to use when we we become entangle in it. Absalom is a ready made case study, got neutralise in his quest to pursue a form. We become a slave to the form of our existence instead of the master of the substance we are meant to be. Substance Over Form (II) There seems to be a disturbing trend within the confines of Christianity today, it manifest in the manner whereby Christians embrace a form of godliness but ignoring the substance upon which the form is built.  What then is this substance? The substance is the life of christ manifesting in righteousness, it is christ in us the hope of glory. It is the expression of the dunamis power of God in the life of a true believer. The form of life could be deceitful and misleading but the substance is a sanctuary of rest and protection. The substance is light that shine through unto the brighter day. Some of us try to rewrite the terms and conditions in a bid to suits our inordinate desires and in a bid to box God into a corner.
