JUST AS I AM




                                                                                                 ...JUST AS I AM

Even when I fail to love Him,
He still loves me just as I am.

 Though I find a false and deceitful premise not to worship Him,
He still loves me just as I am.

 In my quest and desire for personal goals in life, I neglected His precepts,
He still loves me just as I am.

 I yonder and wonder through the maze of iniquity,
He still loves me just as I am.

 I dine and wine with men of unclean lips
He still loves me just as I am.

 I strayed from His wing of protection into the wilderness of undesirable danger,
He still loves me just as I am.

 I swarmed, frolicked, soaked and reeked in abominable waters
He still loves me just as I am.

 I fed my thoughts with the imagination of violence
He still loves me just as I am.

 The very love of God shown to me is a proof of his unending love for me
wow!
He still loves me just as I am.

Repairing the Breaches

Then Elijah said to all the People, “come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.  (1 Kings 18:30, NKJV) A spiritual peek into the lives of the nations and that of men around us reveals ruins of broken down place of worship that has fallen into a state of disrepair and neglects. The personal and the cooperate prayer altars of men and nations has become broken down to the extents that they now qualify to be called museum of past encounter. The personal and cooperate altars of nation and individuals has become breached as a result of neglects and false worship. Listening

"Now then, my sons, listen to me And do not depart from the words of my mouth." (Proverbs 5: 7) The hustling and the bustling in our world today has altered and transformed our relationship with God. It has become the noise that drowns and dwarves every voice that contains an express word for God's people.  We have become so used to the noise in the world that we have lost touch with the person of the Word (Jesus) speaking into our lives. The din of the noise emanating from the world has discounted the word that is meant expressly for us and for the high calling of God for our lives. We have missed so many key appointments in our spiritual calendar because of our inability to hear from God per time, per season!
