Counter Productive Ambition
God, I am not trying to rule the roost, I don't want to be king of the mountains. I haven't meddled where I have no business or fantasized grandiose plans,
Psalm 131:1, (Message Bible)
One of the projectiles of the kingdom of darkness against the modern day believer in these last days is the crisis of miscalculated and over-ambitious pursuit for our place in life and destiny. The idea is to set us up against God.
It manifest in the form of substituting the place of spirituality with the premises of carnality and vain human logic that amounts to Nought. We try in vain to skillfully apply the wisdom of the world to effects the manifestation of Divinity on earth. We also foolishly try to fast track the turn of events in our life with sheer disregard for divine timing and the climax of it all amounts to frustration, self instigated delay and destiny truncation. It is also counter productive.
We must learn to pursue our ambition on the same pace with God. We are to follow while He leads us into the greatness He has proposed for us. We must learn to be patient and trust in Him as this is a proof of our readiness for the greatness that is meant for us.
As we follow the calendar of heaven over our lives, I see us walking into the realm of extraordinary exploits in Jesus name Amen!
