A Call to Move
Arise and depart for this is not your rest;
Because it is defiled, it shall destroy, yes with utter destruction
(Micah 2: 10, NKJV)
We live in the time when the souls and lives of most men and that of nations has been defiled by the attraction for iniquity. The temptation to remain in such palpable and dangerous states has never been strong than the way it is today but the resultants effects of choosing to remain in an atmosphere that is defiled has far reaching consequences on their desired rest.
The desire and expected rest of men and nations has become a fiery tale as a result of the decision to remain in the avenue of corruption. The rest that was craved for has become a source of restlessness and source of despair. It has become an invitation to courts calamity and undesirable results.
A man cannot rest in the place of corruption nor can he experience the fullness of life in an environment that is tainted with evil and wicked desire, such godly rest becomes elusive and far from his habitation because the word of God stand sure even in his life and that of the nations, (see 2 Timothy 2:19).
We must move beyond the place of iniquity if must get to the place of tranquility. Our rest is in our quest for the place of righteousness. we must debunk and discounts the lure in the temptation to remain out of place in the programme of God for our lives and I see God taking us into our place of rest in a grand style in Jesus name, Amen!
“We must move beyond the place of iniquity if we must get to the place of tranquility.”
