MOUNTAINS AGAINST THE MIND

That the world is in existence today;

That we constantly marvel at the beauty of nature;

That we earnestly crave for the sunlight of each day;

That we are innocently pampered by the calmness and soothing hands of fair weather many thanks to the ingenuity of The Creator's mind.

All this and other paraphernalia that comes with creation were conceived, thought over and executed in the mind of God. They were nurtured and thought of with the light of excellence and perfection. At this stage, the order and excellence of God upon the earth were at their apogee. God’s power, glory and beauty were the end products of His work on earth. In fact, it is on record that God concluded every of His work with the word good (see Gen. 1: 3, 30).
 

Evidently, the mind of God was the artist’s canvass for the creation of the universe. It was even the drawing board to expunge and inculcate the technicalities that makes the universe a scientist delights. It was the culture ground for the growths and experiments of life on Earth.

When God created us, He transferred the same ability to us to enable us to enjoy our new-found Dominion. He gave us a better equipped and nurtured mind to aid us navigates and transcends the nitty-gritties that may come our way. He bequeathed the duplicated ability to enable us to bask in our domain in a grand style. No wonder Bros Adam could conveniently and easily name and categories all animals with ease. Adam was a living prototype of God on earth, (see Gen 1: 26-27). He exudes the glory and authority of God on earth, He was even the most talked about dude, he was a celebrity. He enjoyed the pecks and benefit-in-kind that came with him. He was envied by all and sundry. The angels wished they were in his place, even Gabriel wished he were the new sheriff on earth but somewhere in the background a faggot who lost his place in the heaven above, thought and conceived a coup to displace the first man from his highly coveted and sought after position. That dude was the devil, he planned and executed the first coup using the covering of a cunning and unfortunate serpent. Without doubt, he is a strategist and a certified con artist.

Little wonder, the human mind is the most developed of all other animals even though they were all created before him during creation. The mind is too fertile yet delicate. The mind is the best yardstick in the review and assessment of anyone. If the potential of any man could be valued and ascertained, the mind is the best parameter to be used.
 

The mind of a man is capable of dissecting, intersecting, interpolating, cross-pollination and cross breeding information, ideas that is deposited into it. The mind is the original distil, that is why we are continuously inundated with divergent views on different areas of Human endeavour from several school of thoughts. The mind operates on a continuous mode. It doesn’t go on recess.

It has been established that the mind of an individual works better and carries the capacity for more information more than the largest computer in the world. Every great and powerful innovation and invention that the world has ever witnessed is credited to the practical ingenuity of the Human mind. It is also established that the mind is never on break. The mind is designed with cache of working and practical code to ensure the adaptation of the individual to any situation.

The Human mind operates in an infinitesimal mode, in other words, it is dedicated to continuous improvement of anything committed to it. The mind is always work-in-progress. The Human mind though not physical has the ability view things from 7-D not just 3-D. The Human mind is the accurate indicator of the state of affair of any individual. The Humanometer if any exist can only be tested on the mind to gauge it effectiveness and accuracy as well as the state of its health. The Human mind is the prime factor of all that pertains to every man. It is the mind that acts as incubator, the body hatches its eggs as actions and inaction.

Every step of a man must have been nurtured in his mind before it is unravelled. No man is blessed beyond the quality and state of his mind. The mind is a forge for the development of vision. Any vision without a fertile mind to help it grow is likened to the proverbial "building castles in the air". What a mind cannot conceive, it cannot carry. The mind is an Orchard where different fruits are found and catered for. Our mind is our control room. It performs the function of situation report room. Every breakthrough in life must have taken place in the mind before it manifests physically. No man can grow beyond the capacity of his mind. When your mind is not developed, you suffer backwardness in life. When your mind is not fertile, it equates a drought. When your mind lacks fruitfulness, you experience bareness in the realm of life. When you conquer your mind, you dominate yourself. Everything around us owes their continuous presence to the reception accorded them in our mind. What your mind cannot harbour, you cannot tolerate.

Beloved, there are innumerable arsenals deployed against the optimal performance of the mind and they pose as threat to the potentials of the human mind. I choose to term it mountains against the mind.

These mountains work in collaboration with other minor high places against the human mind. No matter how developed your mind is, it is always facing a direct assault and threats of the enemy. Enemy is constantly waging war against the mind to influence and dictate the thought pattern of the mind.

One of this mountain is called fear. This mountain dilutes the capacity of the mind to perform to it best potential and ability. It projects false and discouraging images to the mind. It thrives on assumptions that never existed. It feeds on the perpetual ignorance of it victims. It masticates the fervency of the human mind.

Fear is a dead concept that don't exist excepts you give it life. Fear gives the false impression that danger is lurking around the corner when reverse is the case. Fear cripples the vitality of the mind. It suffocates the lungs of the mind. It is fear that makes the Eagle to become a glorified chicken. It attacks the ability of the mind to be compose and firm. It is fear that makes you compromise on your ability and potentials. Fear makes you shift the goal post when you are supposed to be consolidating on already established gains. Fear has irked men against their creator in time past. Fear is the most important coursework in the school of failure. Fear infects the sanctity of the mind, fear is a good alibi for failure. Fear is the shield for procrastination.

In fact, fear decapitates the vision of a man and obliterates his mind. Fear is a fraud that thrives on the premises of uncertainty and false assumptions.

Fear is the coat of many colours that beautifies and qualifies the excuse for failure. Fear is a doubled edged sword that pierce and severe the thickness of abilities. Fear is one of the most ignored trespass against the mind of most believer. Fear lower the sail of your voyage towards the actualization of your vision. Fear is a compromising bargain by and for anyone. Fear makes your mind scant of ideas and information. Fear is the thickest blanket against the functionality of the mind. Fear is an impulse against the prosperity of the mind. It makes you a celebrated average mediocre.
