Charge De Affairs



Sometimes, it is very funny how we try to rewrite the laws that govern our relationship with God. Some of us try to rewrite the terms and conditions in a bid to suits our inordinate desires and in a bid to box God into a corner. We try to imply an unwritten rule that allows for flexibility as we relates to God for our selfish gains without considering the Writer of the treaty for our life

One of the ways we have reverse the applicable statute as it relates to us all can be seen from the book of Saint Matthew 6:33, "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all this things shall be added unto you". We try to pursue the things of the world at the expense of the agenda for God's Kingdom. We relegate the things of God to mere religion and and religious conformism. It is so bad that we have become Things (earthly,worldly, futility, vanity) conscious and Heavenly(Kingdom, life, salvation) ignorant. It is tragic that we have reverse the priority of the kingdom for mere pursuits of things which equates vanities and emptiness of the soul.

We are to live in eternal pursuit and daily hunger for the things of God's Kingdom. The agenda of the Kingdom must become the pivot of our purpose on earth. It must be the fire that drives and fuel our determination and passion for all our pursuits in life. We must become a promoter of the Kingdom of God on earth. We ought to be charge de affairs of God's Kingdom in our sphere of influence. We must become the admirable model to be copied by the depraved world.

My heart-felt desire this day is for us to become addicted as promoters of God's Kingdom in our daily life and for us to live out the righteousness of God in line with the fashion of heaven in Jesus name, Amen!

Repairing the Breaches

Then Elijah said to all the People, “come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.  (1 Kings 18:30, NKJV) A spiritual peek into the lives of the nations and that of men around us reveals ruins of broken down place of worship that has fallen into a state of disrepair and neglects. The personal and the cooperate prayer altars of men and nations has become broken down to the extents that they now qualify to be called museum of past encounter. The personal and cooperate altars of nation and individuals has become breached as a result of neglects and false worship. Listening

"Now then, my sons, listen to me And do not depart from the words of my mouth." (Proverbs 5: 7) The hustling and the bustling in our world today has altered and transformed our relationship with God. It has become the noise that drowns and dwarves every voice that contains an express word for God's people.  We have become so used to the noise in the world that we have lost touch with the person of the Word (Jesus) speaking into our lives. The din of the noise emanating from the world has discounted the word that is meant expressly for us and for the high calling of God for our lives. We have missed so many key appointments in our spiritual calendar because of our inability to hear from God per time, per season!
