EMBRACING THE FUTURE


'when you refuse to embrace the future you desire from where you are, it will  avoid you when the future becomes the present.'



When you are not scared of the future; you can always charge towards it like a champion knowing fully well that the trophy belongs to you. the future bows to the dash of the unrepentant and determined fellow who pursue and yearns for success with all of his Life. the fear of the future is function of imaginary image built and configure into the mind of those who yields and allow themselves to become pawn and test tubes in the affairs of life. the future salutes and admire those who approached it with a bold and courageous mentality. the future doesn't bow and give way for your fears, cries, worries and anxiety instead it shivers at your resolution and determination to sludge it through the haze and maze of life.

There are no static future, the only future is that which is inbuilt in your heart. the extent at which you will end up in life is an equation of the capacity of your mind and how saturated your mind is overflowing with information. the goal post for the future is always one you can shift and adjust in response with your ability and capacity that you have developed and built over time. You cannot flourish in a future you did not nourish. the future is a promoter of the currency of give and take. you cannot reap from the future you never sowed into, it will only amount to a fraud. God is ever willing and ready to honour and reward every effort we commit and dedicate into our future.

I peeped into the future and I discovered the only future I am scared of is a future that is out of purpose. no matter how glorious a life may seems and appear, it would  only remains a farce and medio in disguise when it is lived out of purpose. the future owes us unlimited potentials if only we are on the right page with purpose. It would be disheartening that at the end of your sojourn in life, you discover that you lived life out of purpose. it is only in your purpose that you can find true and real fulfillment. your purpose is your stamp and seal on the sand of life. Your purpose is an insurance against the uncertainties of the future. living your purpose is a sure way of conquering the fearfully quoted future. the fears of the future would only bow to the courage posed by purpose.

Repairing the Breaches

Then Elijah said to all the People, “come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.  (1 Kings 18:30, NKJV) A spiritual peek into the lives of the nations and that of men around us reveals ruins of broken down place of worship that has fallen into a state of disrepair and neglects. The personal and the cooperate prayer altars of men and nations has become broken down to the extents that they now qualify to be called museum of past encounter. The personal and cooperate altars of nation and individuals has become breached as a result of neglects and false worship. Listening

"Now then, my sons, listen to me And do not depart from the words of my mouth." (Proverbs 5: 7) The hustling and the bustling in our world today has altered and transformed our relationship with God. It has become the noise that drowns and dwarves every voice that contains an express word for God's people.  We have become so used to the noise in the world that we have lost touch with the person of the Word (Jesus) speaking into our lives. The din of the noise emanating from the world has discounted the word that is meant expressly for us and for the high calling of God for our lives. We have missed so many key appointments in our spiritual calendar because of our inability to hear from God per time, per season!
