WHEN WE LIMIT OURSELVES...

When we Limit Ourselves...

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. HEB 11:6

Our drive and pursuits for the great and high places in life is without doubt a lofty idea and a noble undertaking. It is sometimes also funny how we create barricade, barrier and hedges around our life, yet we want to soar high, even higher than the self imposed limitation around us, we ignorantly feel and believe that we can meander and find our way past the self originating limitation that we have placed ahead of us. alas! we are only subscribing to the greatest deceits of a lifetime.

When we think and ponder on limitation, we sometimes or most times attributes it to some externalities without realizing that the bulk of the limitation we experienced comes from within , the  internal limitation are the worst of all. the seed for limitation is always within you. the limitation from within could be likened to a cancer, it may be difficult to detect and more difficult to eradicate. we can't be greater than the limitation that is within us. the limitation that is within us is a demonic check on our progress in life. they are meant to delay and set us off the course from our destination.

when we limit ourselves, we are only setting the level playing field for our failure and defeats in life. the bible made us to understand that as a man thinketh so is he (see Prov. 23:7)

Let us look at the salient ways we can limit oursleves without we knowing or without even having an idea:

1. Unbelief or lack of belief

2. Lack of knowledge or inadequate knowledge.

3. Little or no wisdom

4. When we rely on man instead of God.

5. When we ignore the place of preparation

6. When we relegate service

7. When we live our life outside of God

8.  When we walk out of Purpose

9. When we misplace our prioroties

10. When we accomodate immediate gratification

11. When we fail to take a step
